An ad our time traveling Bible News Press reporter found in the classified section of an ancient Egyptian newspaper:

Today, we bring you more in the weekly series helping you evaluate which slave companies are offering the most reliable units for the best price.  We continue to be impressed with Ishmael Caravans.  They seem to be able to locate brothers who are willing to sell the healthy, young men of the family.

Such slaves are less likely to run away, since home is not a desirable place to return to. (Who knows where they will be sold to next time?)  These slaves have already had a foundational education from their parents.  Being generally in the age range of 15 – 20 years old, they have significant potential to be trained in various responsibilities.

Unlike slaves obtained from conquering, these slaves tend to be packaged with minimal clothing.  The families like to keep the tunics.  (There seems to be some ritual of dipping them in goat’s blood, possibly in the belief that this releases the family from culpability.)  This saves the step of needing to strip the slave for the customer, and makes shopping more efficient.

One of the latest slave models, soon to be released, is called Joseph.  He is extremely polite and handsome.  He exhibits extreme trustworthiness.  Everyone who comes in contact with him speaks highly of him, in spite of rumors that he has a history of recounting odd dreams.

Joseph himself no longer talks about the visions.  He does not seem to be harboring resentment against his brothers, so he is not likely to be violent or unpredictable.  He is another example of an Ishmael Caravan slave that is sure to be highly sought after.  If you are in the market for a very capable slave, keep your eyes on Ishmael Caravans.
