Emergency meetings are being held behind closed doors to decide on a new Egyptian ruler. The former Pharaoh was last seen departing Egypt with his best 600 chariots. He and his troupes were going to apprehend a large group of runaway slaves who are vital to the Egyptian brick building industry.
Since the Egyptian government has been the primary consumer of bricks in recent years, the bulk of the Egyptian citizenry has not shown much interest in keeping the slaves in the country.
In fact, there seems to be a general lack of interest in who is going to be appointed to leadership. As pyramid building is expected to continue no matter who becomes Pharaoh, many Egyptians are voicing hope that the deliberations take as long as possible.
With most of the security forces destroyed or without directives, people are enjoying a state of freedom from regulation and constant monitoring. For the first time in weeks, progress is being made in the clean-up and recovery from the series of natural disasters that have plagued Egypt.
A small scouting group, sent by what remains of the current Egyptian administration, returned with reports of a strange cloud formation that glows at night. It could be seen on the other side of the Red Sea. The only signs of the army were inexplicable chariot tracks that led straight into the water, plus a couple of flags found on the shore. The Hebrew slaves were no where to be seen.
