Summary: We are given a quick tour of the reigns of Abijam and Asa, kings of Judah in the line of David. Abijam isn’t around for very long and is wicked. Asa takes steps to rid the land of wickedness that include deposing his own grandmother from being queen. Baasha becomes king of Israel and proceeds to murder everyone in Jeroboam’s family, but he’s not an improvement, as he continues the wickedness. Read from the World English Bible.
