Reading 1 Samuel Chapter 8

June 20, 2022 by Laura Blodgett Leave a Comment

Summary: Samuel’s sons are appointed judges when he is old, but they pervert justice. The people of Israel decide this a a reason to have a man as king instead of God himself. Yahweh tells Samuel to warn them what it will be like when they have a man as king, but they still insist and God says they can have what they want. Read from the World English Bible.
