Summary: Jehoahaz and his son Joash call on Yahweh for help, but never learn from that to stop worshipping idols and follow him. We get some details of Joash going to visit Elisha when he is dying, during which Elisha guides Joash in asking for Yahweh’s direction in battle, but Joash’s response is lack luster and so his Yahweh doesn’t help as much as he might have.
