Summary: Josiah begins cleaning up and repairing Yahwen’s house when he is 26 years old. While doing that Hilkiah the high priest discovers the book of the law. Shaphan the scribe reads it to Josiah and Josiah tears his clothes, realizing how much the people of Judah have transgressed the law. They go find Huldah the prophetess, who tells them that, yes, Yahweh says there will be judgement, but because Josiah had a tender heart it will not happen in his lifetime.
