Summary: Commands are given regarding divorce and remarriage and taking pledges. They are told to give a poor man his wages “in his day” and “neither shall the sun go down on it.” They are told not to deprive a foreigner or justice, take a widow’s clothing as a pledge, not put someone to death for someone else’s sin. They are also told to leave the gleanings of their harvest for the foreigner, fatherless, and widow. Read from the World English Bible.
