Reading Deuteronomy Chapter 26

March 6, 2022 by Laura Blodgett Leave a Comment

Summary: Moses describes how they should bring some of the first fruit of the ground in a basket to the priest and recite a remembrance of how they became a nation and were brought to the land. The tithe of the third year is designated as belonging to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow. And after verbally confirming that they have not transgressed any of the commandments, they are supposed to ask to be blessed. Again, they are admonished to keep all the statues, ordinances with all their heart and with all their soul. Read from the World English Bible.
