Summary: Moses reminds them of what Yahweh did in the land of Egypt and how they have been led in the wilderness for 40 years without their clothes growing old. The defeat of Sihon and Og is reviewed as a reminder to follow the words of the covenant. He makes it clear that the covenant is for everyone, young and old, man and woman, heads of tribes and foreigners. He explains that if a man tries to claim the peace of the blessings while being stubborn, he will be individually cursed. He draws a vivid picture of what will happen when they abandon the covenant, comparing them to Sodom and Gomorrah. Finally, he speaks secret things that belong to Yahweh versus what has been revealed that belongs to them. Read from the World English Bible.
