Summary: Moses reminds Israel of all they have seen Yahweh do. They are cautioned to keep all his commandments, for they are wisdom and understanding. They are commissioned to make all known to their children and their children’s children. They are to remember that Yahweh spoke to them from the middle of the fire that burned on the mountain, but they did not see any form that they should copy to make an image of. When they corrupt themselves, they will perish from the land until they seek Yahweh with all their heart and soul. Then they will return. From the day that God created man on the earth there has not been anything like God taking a nation for himself, to show that Yahweh is God and there is no one else besides him.
