Summary: Yahweh tells how has declared things from of old, before it came to pass so they could not claim they heard it from their idols. Also he is showing them new things so they can not say they already knew everything. For his own sake, he will defer his anger and not cut them off. It would have been better if they had listened to his commandments and obtained peace like a river. And he talks of how they will leave Babylon and he provided water from the split rock in the desert. Read from the World English Bible.
