Summary: Isaiah sees the Lord on his throne and cries in woe, but he is made clean by a coal from the altar. Then he answers the Lord’s question about who to send and is given a message. It is to a people who have chosen not to understand and now will be kept in that state of ignorance. But “the stump will remain” and is compared to the holy seed. Read from the World English Bible.
