Summary: The day of Yahweh’s vengeance is compared to him trodding down grapes in a wine press. This is also the year of his redeemed. The kindnesses of Yahweh of old are expounded on, how he saved, loved, pitied, and carried his people. Yet, they rebelled and he was grieved. As a result he treated them as an enemy. But Yahweh remembers the days of old and Isaiah entreats Yahweh as their Redeemer from everlasting. Read from the World English Bible.
