Summary: Joel calls for trumpets to be blown to sound an alarm and later to call for repentance. The ravages of the locusts are compared to fire, chariots, and fearless warriors. Yahweh calls them his army. But he says there is still time to turn to him with all their hearts. The restoration will be abundant.
