Summary: The Levites ask for the cities and the surrounding pastures lands that were promised to them. By lot, they are given cities from among the various tribes, including a number of the cities of refuge. The section ends stating that Yahweh gave them rest all around and delivered all their enemies into their hand. All that was promised came to pass. Read from the World English Bible.
