Summary: Joshua gathers everyone together again and tells them what Yahweh says. This is a review of events from the time of Abraham’s father to how Yahweh gave the people of Israel a land on which they had not labored and cities which they did not build. Joshua then admonishes them to fear Yahweh and serve him in sincerity and truth, and to put away the foreign gods which are among them. They are emphatic that they will serve God.
