Summary: Yahweh tells Joshua to ambush the city of Ai, which he does. This time the people of Israel are told to keep the livestock and good, but all of the inhabitants are killed and the city is burned. The king of Ai is hung on a tree, then his body is covered with rocks at the gate of the burned city. After these things, sacrifices are offered and the whole law is read to everyone.
