Summary: The Pharisees and scribes complain to Jesus about his disciples eating without washing their hands, so Jesus exposes that they put aside the commandments of God for the traditions of men and calls them hypocrites. He explains that it is what comes out of the mouth that defiles a man. When Jesus does into the region of Tyre and Sidon, a Canaanite woman begs for him to heal her demon possessed daughter.
