Summary: Paul, with Timothy, writes to the saints of Christ Jesus in Philippi, encouraging them that his imprisonment is furthering the Good News there where he is among the palace guard, as well as emboldening others to speak without fear. He says “to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” But he expects to live for now in order to bear more fruit in his work. Then he tells them that he hopes to hear they are standing firm in one spirit, not frightened by adversaries, “which is for them a proof of destruction.” Read from the World English Bible.
