Summary:
It is much easier to understand Paul’s letters if you just read the whole thing! He is talking about the unity of believing Gentiles and believing Jews in Christ, something that was previously a mystery, but was planned from the beginning. There are parts of Ephesians which directly address the topic of how we speak and whether or not lying is ever acceptable. Read from the World English Bible.
