The Alliance of Nephilim Suspected of Corruption

A group first thought to simply be an ethnically based association is now under investigation for a broad range of illegal activities.  Evidently a men’s only company, they are widely recognized for their athletic capabilities and persuasive speaking.  A number of young women have been convinced to marry them, but several other mysterious disappearances are thought to be linked to them.

Attempts to interview the Nephilim have been met with hostility.  Families who have complained are known to return from encounters with problems such as memory loss.  In spite of this, they recite stories of men with incredible strength and powers defying natural physics.  Those so affected often persist in rituals they claim the Nephilim told them must be performed for safety and prosperity.

There is concern that the police have either been bribed or otherwise manipulated.   One squad of officers was finally located after going on an assignment for 20 years.  They maintain they were continually trying to return home.  Another officer was recently found staring at his reflection in a pond.

The pranks of the Nephilim children are creating confusion in many places. There does not seem to be an overriding pattern or intent other than mayhem. Many communities are completely lacking in any semblance of order or justice. As the chaos proceeds to unfold, the Nephilim presence is felt by many to be bolder and more intense. There are reports that they know their window of opportunity will soon be closed.
