In chapter seven of The Pilgrim Church, the history and persecutions of true Christians from 1350 – 1670 are covered. It begins with Wycliff, explains the complications of the Peasant Revolt and the Hussite wars, and reveals both confusion and faithful heroism. It ends with some writings of the much persecuted Jan Amos Comenius, who warned about the growing divisions among professing Christians and admonished all to remember that there is only one needful thing.
