Summary:
What if you knew that as soon as you repented and believed on Jesus Christ you were at great risk of death? What if you knew they would take your children from you and give all your worldly goods to do great harm to other believers? These are the intense circumstances of many true Christians in the mid 1500’s. Cruelty done by those in power who themselves claimed the name of Christian, but only for their own authority or safety from persecution.
