Summary: In the 40th year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, Moses reviews with all Israel how God told them to go in and possess the land, but after the report of the 12 men they rebelled against God and wouldn’t go up. Even when Moses reminded them of how God had been with them and all they had seen with their own eyes, they didn’t believe Yahweh. So Yahweh was angry with them and said that only Caleb, who had wholly followed Yahweh, and Joshua would of that generation would go in and inherit. When all Israel heard they would be headed back into the wilderness, they said they would go up and fight, but they were warned not to, because Yahweh was not among them.
