Summary: Instructions are given for going to battle against enemies. First, they are not to be afraid, for Yahweh their God is with them. Second, men are to be given a chance to go home for things like having just built a house, having just planted a vineyard, having plans to get married soon, and even if they are afraid. A difference is made between the nations they are driving out of the land and those who want to fight them from more distant places. Read from the World English Bible.
