Summary: Hosea describes Israel as a people building many altars to idols, idols who will be proven of no value when righteous judgement comes. They are compared to a field that is overcome with poisonous weeds, and that is plowing wickedness and lies. Gibeah is referred to again. He begs them to sow righteousness, then predicts the destruction of the king of Israel in a morning. Read from the World English Bible.
